What happens when an Arab comedian and a Jewish comedian share a stage to talk about politics, identity, and Palestine?

Created by Mehdi Mahtaj and Rachel Arieff, The Arab and the Jew brings comedy and serious conversations together.

Taking an anti-Zionist and pro-Palestinian position, the show challenges common ideas and explores the human side of a subject that affects us all.

Jewish identity and Zionism are not the same thing. Jewish people, Muslims, Christians, and people of every background can stand together for Palestinian freedom and against injustice.

Through jokes, personal stories, and honest discussion, Mehdi and Rachel want to make people laugh, think, and see things from a different perspective.

This is more than a comedy show. It’s a chance to discuss difficult subjects, challenge ideas, and remember our shared humanity.

Because you can take a stand, speak the truth, and still make people laugh.

The show is performed in English.
